I have been doing a lot of seating research lately and came across these pieces that I found to be quite striking.

Milan 08: Spanish designer Nacho Carbonell exhibited his Evolution chairs at Spazio Rossana Orlandi.

The project explores themes of public and private behaviour and is meant to provide users with an escape from everyday life.

The collection includes three seats made from paper mache with chicken-wire frames: a chair with a cave-like bulge that a person can climb inside for contemplation
