Tag Heuer has come out with the Monaco V4, a limited edition concept watch that is belt driven instead of being gear driven. The motion is controlled by very tiny belts visible in the watch face. Despite the challenges of the belt system, the watch is remarkably accurate. Tag Heuer has basically re-invented the wheel when they did not have to, but it is a remarkable example of solving an old problem in a new way.
